we believe in the power of partnerships

Overview

We’re continuously working to cultivate a culture and environment where individuals feel heard and empowered, but also where we prioritize learning to propel our organization forward. That’s why we partner with companies and businesses who share our passion and believe that a strong culture drives success.

The More Voices at the Table, The Better

At SSP America we are strongest as a company when we fully leverage collaboration and inclusive practices. Collaboration with our Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) partnerships brings opportunities for “Innovation Every Day”—one of our PASSION Principles™. The more voices at the table, the better.

SSP America embraces the tenets of the FAA Airport Concession Disadvantage Business Enterprise Program. Throughout our U.S. airport operations, SSP America regularly meets or exceeds ACDBE requirements while building lasting relationships with some of the best restaurant operators in the country.

We meet quarterly with both our ACDBE partners and our airport clients to ensure the SSP America team is aligned with our contractual obligations and building strong, long-term relationships. SSP America has woven inclusion and opportunity into its corporate culture.

Our goals mirror those of the U.S. Department of Transportation through our focus on:

  1. Removing barriers for ACDBE participation by casting a wide net
  2. Applying inclusive practices
  3. Providing flexible options for ACDBE participation

We’re Proud to be a Corporate Sponsor of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and the AMAC Foundation. Our leaders serve in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles in support of promoting the full participation of minority-owned, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises throughout the aviation and aerospace industries.

An Inclusive Supply Chain Built on Relationships

We are committed to developing an inclusive supply chain built on strong, meaningful relationships which make doing business not only productive, but rewarding. Our goal is to identify and source business opportunities with capable small, minority, women, disabled, and veteran owned businesses that meet the supplier qualifications and SSP business needs requirements including distribution network, ensuring a safe accessible and secure supply chain. Supplier diversity is a business imperative that delivers success for the communities we serve, our partners and team members.

We expect our business partners to agree to food safety requirements and Ethical Code of Conduct polices. These policies outline the minimum requirements and standards we expect all our contracted suppliers for our own brands to adhere to.
