SSP America Has More Than 170 Certified Green Restaurants® Across 12 Airports

The SSP America food travel experts are PASSIONate about sustainability. We’re proud that 172 of our restaurants across 12 airports have earned the prestigious Certified Green Restaurant® sustainability certification by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA).
GRA has verified that the 172 locations have collectively implemented 4,332 environmental steps to earn 20,395.64 GreenPoints™ spanning the GRA’s seven environmental categories: energy, water, waste, reusables and disposables, chemicals and pollution, food, and building and furnishing. By initiating daily waste reduction practices, decreasing water usage, and conserving energy, we’re already minimizing our environmental footprint but we’re not done yet! We recently brought on an additional group of restaurants to begin the certification process, with the goal of having all of our locations certified by the end of 2025.
