SSP America Expands Presence at SLC

In anticipation of #TheNewSLC, Airport Director Bill Wyatt announced twelve new shops and restaurants set to open Fall 2024 at the Salt Lake City International Airport. As a part of the airport’s planned Phase III Rebuild, SSP America was awarded two new restaurants. Our brand partners Ethan Cisneros, Co-Founder of Thirst Drinks, and Michael McHenry, Founder of the McHenry Group, were on hand to celebrate the expansion of their respective local brands.

Thirst Drinks brings an innovative, white-hot brand to SLC serving hugely popular “dirty sodas,” pretzels, beignets, and other pastries in a quick service format—perfect for busy travelers looking for a delectable, tasty treat to go. Sunday’s Best, led by Michael and the Utah Restaurant Association’s 2022 Chef of the Year Tyler Stokes, is OpenTable’s most booked brunch in Utah—and now SSP America, its joint venture partners, and the McHenry Group are joining forces to feed travelers’ love of brunch 7 days a week.
