Celebrating Success in IND

Written in Indianapolis’s legacy is a history of hosting world-class sporting events, and next summer, USA Swimming will hold the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Indy. For the first time ever, they’ll be staged on a football field. That’s right—they’re building Olympic sized swimming pools at Lucas Oil Stadium. 

Since our earliest days as a company, SSP America has been a proud member of the Indy community. Way back when, we partnered with the good people at Huse Culinary and Harry & Izzy’s—an Indy landmark—to re-create the downtown experience airside. And because of its overwhelming popularity and the service excellence of our team members and operators, our Harry & Izzy’s at the Indianapolis International Airport just got an expansion.

To celebrate, we joined the Indianapolis Airport Authority and Huse Culinary for a “Conversations Over Shrimp Cocktails” featuring U.S. Olympic gold medalist swimmer Cody Miller and Visit Indy’s Chris Gahl. You bet we all had a whole bunch of fun—seeing old friends and making new ones. Needless to say, SSP America will be rooting for Cody and all of our U.S. swimmers next year—and we need Chris to interview everyone all the time. He rocked it.
